During the past number of years, my wife and I have played a major role in helping a friend with Parkinson’s Disease with day-to-day living decisions, including medical issues and daily financial decisions. Over the last 4 years of his life, he required 24/7 home care in order for him to remain in his residence at Our Parent’s Home in Edmonton, Alberta. It was during this period that we interacted with Elmer, who was one of our friend’s long-time home care helpers. Elmer worked evenings and nights and was responsible for mobility transfers, handling bathroom tasks, and addressing any chronic or acute medical issues that might arise. We were impressed with the kind and professional care Elmer provided.
Elmer and our friend developed a true friendship. Our friend took delight in the photos and videos taken by Elmer. He attended our friend’s celebration of life and brought many of these to show to attendees. We would unreservedly recommend Elmer for home care issues. He is currently providing home care assistance with another close friend.
Yours Truly,
Larry Brox
